Demers Ambulances, a United States-based manufacturer of ambulance vehicles and The Lion Electric Company (NYSE: LEV) (TSX: LEV), a manufacturer of all-electric medium and heavy-duty urban vehicles, have launched the Demers eFX Ambulance, the first all-electric and purpose-built ambulance.
The vehicle is scheduled to be commercialised in the second half of 2022. It was produced with the support of the government of Quebec and the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP).
