Duke Energy Florida, a subsidiary of Duke Energy, has filed the locations of its three new solar power plants that it claims will offer cleaner, smarter energy solutions to benefit Florida customers.

The three new solar power plants include Duette Solar power plant, Charlie Creek Solar Power Plant and Archer Solar Power Plant that cover an area of around 520 acres in Manatee County, Florida; 610 acres in Hardee County, Florida and Alachua County, Florida respectively.

The Duette Solar power plant is to include around 227,000 single-axis tracking solar panels, capable of producing enough electricity to power around 23,000 homes at peak production per annum. The Charlie...
