EACON Mining Technology, a China-based autonomous vehicle haulier for the mining industry, has received two new projects, the Gobi Desert No. 2 Coal Mine, a subsidiary of the TBEA Group, and Huolinhe South Coal Mine, a subsidiary of State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC).
This is claimed to represent large-scale and rapid installation of EACON's mature autonomous driving solution. The new projects are also claimed to underline EACON's market dominance in China's Northwest region, which accounts for 85 percent of the country's total open-pit coal mines.
