This all cascaded over onto social media, where Love Island fans shared their opinions on the whole situation. One Twitter user was especially unhappy with Jay, writing: "Jay is the real villain. #LoveIsland. But why did Ekin target Amber to chat and not Paige as well??"

Another said: "I think the way Ekin-Su approached Jay was wrong but she's right, he's playing games #Loveisland." A third wrote: "Davide must of been sipping the biggest cup of tea watching the mess between Ekin-Su and Jay #LoveIsland"

However, not everyone was of this opinion, as one Twitter user said: "Wait so you mean Jay went to Ekin first told her the deal then went to Jax before even approaching Paige and yet people trying to call Jay out? #LoveIsland"

Another agreed, writing: "Jacquees backing Jay who's going after his girl btw saying saying Jay realised after 2 days Ekin Su is a headache. she needs to GO HOME!"
