And now fans of the show are not convinced the local fitness fanatic is showing every side of himself, and took to social media to share their irritation at the star. One Twitter user even went so far as to say: "Jay is the #LoveIsland villain, you can't change my mind."

Another said: "Jay, you are a f****** tool mate. #LoveIsland." A third wrote: "naw jay because if you were really interested in getting to know paige you should have let it be known with ekin su that you were still open to get to know the other girls #LoveIsland."

More comments read: "jay can just pack his bags and get gone rn bc no one's interested #LoveIsland." Another added: "Jay really doesn't give a s*** about Paige like why is he acting like a fool in love he's not a good actor #LoveIsland."
