In a preview for Thursday night's episode, Ekin-Su raged: "It's just hit me now what you've done. You're telling me you want to get to know Paige.

"She's in a secure relationship. Do you know how muggy that makes you look? Apparently I was the player in here, but the biggest player in this villa is you. You deserve the biggest Oscar in here."

Jay replies saying: "I was getting to know you and things... things..." But Ekin-Su claps back saying: "Well done. You should just f*** off, Jay."

This had fans reeling with the realisation of Ekin's words, as one Twitter user wrote: "Ekin Su got issues yo. I was trying to validate where she was coming from but now she doing too much coming at Jay like her. He deserves an Oscar? For what?! Girl bye. #LoveIsland."
