As viewers of the BBC soap will know, Eddie killed Henry Kofi Asare so he couldn't take his son George back to his home country in Africa and is now facing a historic murder charge. Being spiteful, Eddie told George tonight that his biological parents didn't want him, and said no one did apart from "weak and stupid" Gloria

He then tried to goad George into attacking him, and said: "Give me the battering I gave to your pathetic little father". George responded to his adoptive dad by saying he was the root of his problems as he resisted the temptation.

Eddie then brought up Anna and Gina into conversation as George warned him to not speak about his daughters. But Eddie replied: "Well, you don't talk about your boy, do ya And that's the thing, ain't it You can tell the world all you want that a bad man I am. But I stood by you when others didn't."

He added: "Your boy, he's got your blood running right through his body. I killed to keep my son, you walk away from yours. So who really is the one who's running away from what he's done Always liked the smell of blood haven't you"

George simply looked at Eddie and replied: "I had a good teacher".
