Edinburgh Castle hits back at tourist's bogus 'anti English abuse' claim

Although the attraction generally garners favourable feedback, an unusual one out of five star rating was recently left on the TripAdvisor which described the castle as 'dodgy', while it also commented on the appearance of the staff working there

The reviewer, who suggested they visited the landmark in July of last year, said: "It's a long walk up, I felt targeted as I happen to be half English, however the pencil and magnet I got were very good, some attractive workers."

However, the feedback appears to be just one of a number of bizarre bogus reviews written by the user about various landmarks across Scotland.

In spite of this, the team at Edinburgh Castle felt the need to respond on TripAdvisor to say that discrimination of any form will not be tolerated at the attraction, while advising the reviewer to get in touch with their complaints team of they felt necessary.
