Edinburgh man arrested as cops race to early morning Leith Street disturbance

Cops raced to the scene at around 2:50 am on Friday, June 17, after reports of a disturbance on the junctions between Leith Street and Princes Street

After Emergency Services arrived, a 23-year-old man was rushed to hospital. His current condition is currently unknown.

The cops also arrested a 33-year-old man in connection with the incident.

Police are now urging any members of the public who may have been witness to the incident or could offer any information to help with their investigation to get in touch. Locals are encouraged to contact the police and quote incident number 290 of June 17 or contact Crimestoppers to give information anonymously.
