Edinburgh marina hosting open weekend with windsurfing and kayaking taster sessions

Port Edgar in South Queensferry is opening up to the public on May 4 and 5, and is the largest watersports and activity centre in Scotland. Visitors can try out various activities and also enjoy street food, shopping and DJs

Sports include canoeing, sea kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, powerboating and more. The centre sits less than 30 minutes from Edinburgh's city centre, on the southern banks of the Firth of Forth.

Port Edgar Marina's managing director, Russell Aitken, said: "We are absolutely thrilled to announce that the Open Weekend is back!
