Edinburgh revellers face wet and windy St Patrick's weekend according to BBC

A storm could bring floods and gales, with BBC Weather predicting rain throughout March 15, 16 and 17. Showers look set to begin on Friday at around 1pm, continuing throughout the afternoon and into the evening

Temperatures sit at around 8C throughout the weekend. Saturday will see "light rain and gentle breeze".

On St Patrick's Day, rain will continue on from Saturday. The sun attempts to break through at around midday, with showers continuing.

A Met Office forecaster said: "After a grey Monday with light rain, rain and cloud arrive from the west on Tuesday. It will be breezy in the north and west, with outbreaks of rain, and drier towards the south and east.
