Edinburgh schoolboy left 'shaken' after attack as CCTV shows gang of four

Police in the capital have appealed to the public after the 13-year-old was targeted near the junction of South Trinity Road with Ferry Road

While walking with a friend towards the junction on January 2, the boy was attacked at around 7.30pm.

Speaking this week, police confirmed they are continuing investigations into the incident, and have now released two CCTV images.

Hoping to trace the four young men pictured, officers said they believe the individuals could help assist them in their investigation.

The males in the images are described as being in their mid-to-late teens and wearing dark coloured jogging bottoms and hooded tops or tracksuits.

In particular, officers are keen to speak to one of the males who is shown wearing a distinctive pink headband or hood. He is described as being aged 14 to 16 years old, Asian and about 5ft tall.
