Karly Zagorac, 32, is now the proud owner of ' A Wee Taste', a new grazing bar serving up a range of stunning sharing platters paired alongside a good bottle of wine

Deciding to follow her dream after years working as a teacher at Royal High School, Karly has taken over the site at 36 Leven Street, after her initial food and drink tours went down a treat.

Opening on June 28, the bar will be running from 12.30pm until 10pm from Tuesday-Sunday, and will offer up both sweet and savoury platters.

With the savoury options featuring the likes of IJ Mellis cheese and the Edinburgh Butter Company, the sweet options will include freshly baked brownies, blondies and fresh fruit.

Speaking about her new venture, Karly also shared how the venue will also be running wine and gin tasting events as well as 'build your own platter' workshops once fully up and running.

Having launched the food and drink tours pre-pandemic as a weekend side project to her day job as a history teacher, Edinburgh local Karly forged strong relationships with some of Scotland's most prominent producers and suppliers, many of which she is proud to serve on A Wee Taste's menu.

Commenting on her new venture, Karly said: "This business really began with my own passion for the producers and suppliers on our doorstep here in Edinburgh. We saw huge potential with the tours and they were beginning to really take off with tourists and locals alike just before Covid hit.
