With Summer beginning to hit the city, Edinburgh is set to enjoy some scorching weather over the course of the next week, with temperatures soaring into the low 20 degrees by the end of the week

Edinburgh locals are set to enjoy a warm weekend this week, with Saturday and Sunday both reaching 16C and 17C respectively. While some showers are expected to break up the sunny spells, it is still forecast to be very warm.

Moving into the start of the week, Monday is set to remain cloudy throughout the day, with some sunshine peeking through at the start of the day. However, it will continue to get warmer at the start of the week with highs reaching 17C.
