Edinburgh youths clamber all over bus shelter and 'threaten to smash shop window'

An image, shared by the entrepreneur and local resident, shows a group of around 20 youths clambering on top of a bus stop on Gorgie Road on the afternoon of Tuesday June 28.

They said: "We are always dreading their lunch breaks. They spit, swear and shout as well as throw rubbish everywhere.

"I have even been told that I am going to get my shop window smashed when I challenge them."

They shared the picture in a local community group but the business owner says that they were "disgusted by some folk who kept insisting that they could be doing worse things than just climbing a bus stop."

One young male can be seen dangerously standing on top of the bus shelter which has a fragile roof.

A group of around 17 other pupils are seen to be surrounding the bus stop and looking up at the boy.
