Rescue puppy, Rupert, who is described as an "unlucky" but "friendly little boy" is now looking to find new owners

Staff at Helping Yorkshire Poundies have said the eight week old crossbreed came in to the centre with his mum and four other of his siblings when they were just two days old.

Out of his brothers and sisters, the crossbreed was the biggest of his littermates who have been named Paddington, Winnie, Honey and Panda. He was also said to be the first to the food bowl.

According to The Mirror, charity volunteer, Sarah Dobbs said: "Rupert is a sweet, friendly little boy and is doing really well. He has a sensitive side to his personality which means he can feel intimidated by dogs who are overly bouncy or in his face.

"We are ideally looking for a home with a confident, calm female dog to help teach him social skills. He won't be the easiest little pup and will need lots of input, but we're certain his perfect match is out there.
