Emera Inc. (TSX: EMA), a Canada-based energy company, has received approval from the Maine Public Utilities Commission for the sale of Emera Maine, a regulated electricity transmission and distribution company in Maine, to Calgary-based ENMAX Corporation.
The approval is the sixth and final regulatory agency approval required to proceed with completing the acquisition.
