The European Banking Authority (EBA) has put pressure on banks to better quantify climate risks.

According to Reuters, the watchdog opined that banks might not be fully reflecting risks from climate change in their capital buffers. The EBA also said that several changes would be introduced over the next three years to help rectify this problem.
