EVCS, a California-based company that deals with electric vehicle (EV) fast-charging network operators on the West Coast, has received USD1.88m from the California Energy Commission's (CEC) Reliable, Equitable, and Accessible Charging for multi-family Housing (REACH) program.

EVCS is to use the proceeds to deploy two DC fast chargers and 245 Level two chargers at multi-unit dwellings in Southern California, serving low-income and disadvantaged communities.
