Sean starred as a promising young Irish footballer who played for Walford F.C. but got caught up with Mandy Slater and ended up taking drugs and sleeping rough.

After EastEnders, Sean went on to have a pretty successful acting career both here and across the pond, with a brief stint as a pop singer too.

Sean, now 45, left the soap in 1994 and starred in BBC drama series Dangerfield as Marty and appeared in Holby City and Sunburn.

He then took a brief but successful career change into music, releasing three albums between 1994 and 1998. His biggest hit was Good Day which reached number 12 in the charts in May 1996.

After achieving some pop fame, Sean went over to the US.

He appeared in various TV series including Eve and The Class before starring in Meet the Spartans, a film which reached number 1 in the US box office charts only to then be voted worst film of 2008 by The Times.
