Swan Valley wineries -just 25 minutes from Perth, Swan Valley is one of the world’s closest wine regions to a major city.

You can experience rustic charm and generations of tradition and passion at the many wineries in the valley, whilst tasting some of the best wine Australia has to offer.

Due to the Mediterranean-style climate in the region, winemakers are able to produce a wide range of styles, from sparkling to fortified wines.

Food/Drink to try:

As a coastal city, Perth is full of fresh seafood, and its most popular seafood item is the western rock lobster, also known as crayfish.

Whether you have it simply grilled or as part of a more complex dish, make sure you get it as fresh as possible!

Established in 1970, the Beerwah Reptile Park started as a wildlife park that spanned two acres.

Now run by the family of the late conservationist Steve Irwin and known as Australia Zoo, it encompasses over 700 acres with 110 acres on public display.

The zoo aims to conserve and protect animals while educating the public about the importance of looking after our wildlife.
