The US Fed has imposed a higher stress capital buffer (SCB) on Morgan Stanley (NYSE: MS) than on its peers.

The firm said that it has been provided with a higher SCB of 5.9 percent from October 1 to September 30, 2021. Other banks, such as Citigroup Inc (NYSE: C) and Bank of America Corp (NYSE: BAC), have SCBs of 2.5 percent.
