Danish engineering company FLSmidth & Co A/S (CPH:FLS) said on Thursday that it has agreed to acquire the Mining business of German industrial group thyssenkrupp AG (ETR:TKA).
Under an agreement with thyssenkrupp Industrial Solutions AG, a subsidiary of thyssenkrupp, FLSmidth will acquire TK Mining for a total consideration (enterprise value) of EUR325m, corresponding to approximately DKK2.4bn.
Negotiations are still ongoing as to whether thyssenkrupp's Indian mining business will be part of the transaction.
