And with title-chasing Rangers due to visit Gorgie in the last match of the league campaign, the winger is adamant Steven Naismith's side will be up for it and aiming to prove a point. Forrest dismissed any notion Hearts lack belief against Clement's men and said: "I don't think that's true.

"Our record against Rangers isn't great but, from our play on Sunday, you could see there was a belief. We didn't fear them or anything. We had belief when we were planning for Sunday and it was down to fine margins.

"Unfortunately, we didn't take our chances.

"Yeah, definitely [want to prove a point on the last day]. We will prepare the same way for that game. We will treat every game the same, whether our position in the league is set or not. That doesn't change anything.
