We've put together a roundup of some of the best deals and freebies available to those who complete the race. After running 26.2 miles people deserve a little treat.

There are five top bars in London offering a free draught beer or soft drink to runners who present their hard-earned marathon medals to bar staff.

The first is Pergola on the Wharf in Canary Warf. Nestled along the waterfront, the botanical rooftop bar offers the perfect spot to watch the marathon course so your mates can see you trudge by and you can rejoin them after the race. Located amongst the action, visitors will be surrounded by the runners tackling the 18th mile of the course.

The Libertine in Bank is also offering the deal. It is located right in the heart of the city, the restaurant is set in the vaults of The Royal Exchange, and just a five-minute walk from the course as it goes through Cannon Street. With its sophisticated ambience and diverse selection of beverages, this is the ideal location for those wanting to stop off for a drink as they follow the course around.

The Prince in Earl’s Court is nearby to the end of the course in west London and will also hand over some free beer to marathon finishers. The beautiful neighbourhood hotspot welcomes runners and supporters for a celebratory free pint once runners have crossed the finish line.

Palm House in Victoria is another great place to rejoin your loved ones after the race ends nearby in west London. Again they too will have a free pint awaiting you at the vibrant bar and restaurant. It provides a central spot to celebrate running achievements near...
