Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ECOPETROL; NYSE: EC), a Colombia-based integrated energy company, has announced that the Glaucus-1 well has confirmed the presence of natural gas in the deep waters of the southern Colombian Caribbean.
The company says that this discovery underscores the significance of the gas reserve in this region of the country.
