Gogoro Inc. (Nasdaq: GGR), a Taiwan-based, global technology company in battery swapping ecosystems that it says enable sustainable mobility solutions for cities, has launched its Gogoro CrossOver Smartscooter, claimed to be the first two-wheel SUV.
The company says that the vehicle is designed to be customised and personalised and can also adapt its functions as required. It is to be offered in Taiwan later this quarter in two models: CrossOver and CrossOver S.
The Gogoro CrossOver is optimised for various road conditions and adopts a newly developed all-terrain frame that is available with 14.2 centimetres of ground clearance. It is merged with a G2.2 aluminium alloy water-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor that offers maximum power of 7.6 kW.
