Gospelware outline plans to recruit 16 staff over the next 12 months; Newcastle-based digital developers are also plotting a rebrand in 2016 on the back of a successful year of contract wins.

Digital developers Gospelware have set out plans to recruit 16 staff over the next year.

The specialists in mobile and healthcare digital products recently relocated from Gateshead to Newcastle city centre premises and have since won a string of contracts.

Three new engineers and a business development manager have joined the firm in recent months and now plans are in place to grow headcount further -- including three more hires before the end of the year.

Managing director Ryan Davies said: "It's been a great year for us so far, and we're able to expand our team because of this. Our projects are regional, national and international which is making roles such as office manager more essential for clerical duties and appointment management.
