Great British Bake Off fans 'give up' on show over ongoing subtitles issue; Tuesday's Great British Bake Off was once again affected by subtitles issues on Channel 4 leaving viewers upset.

Upset Great British Bake Off viewers have vowed to 'give up' on the new series due to an on going issue with subtitles on Channel 4 and its sister channels.

Over the past few weeks the channels have been blighted by a manner of technical problems, from subtitles not working on Channel 4, E4 and All4 to fans of the likes of Married at First Sight being greeted by black screens and error messages and, in one case, being left annoyed when E4 showed the wrong episode of the much talked about dating show instead of its highly anticipated finale.

The new run of Bake Off hasn't escaped unscathed either and, for the third week in a row, viewers with hearing difficulties were unable to enjoy their favourite programme as subtitles failed again.

As several of this year's contestants fell victim to the notoriously difficult Dessert Week, fans were unable to enjoy all of the drama, due to the ongoing technical hitch.

And they were very vocal about their frustration's on social media, with some saying they're ready to throw the towel in with the new series.
