Haldex AB (STO:HLDX) reported on Friday that due to the outbreak of COVID-19, it will temporarily close the distribution centre in Weyersheim, France for a period of two weeks as from 23 March 2020.
The company said the last deliveries before the temporary close down will be shipped to customers on 23 March 2020. Customer service will continue to operate, as well as a few administrative staff.
According to Haldex, this distribution centre is located in a highly affected area and Haldex is no longer able to overcome the effects of the major disruptions in the logistics chain in the region.
