Harry Potter star admits she struggled to get a job after filming ended

After hearing Jessie speak about her writing and comedy work, host Kate Garraway, 55, said: "And that's interesting, isn't it.

"It shows that you do have to make your own opportunities. You would think that having the fame of being on something like Harry Potter, that you'd be set for life.

"But in a weird kind of way, you had to reinvent yourself."

Nodding in agreement, Jessie said: "Totally. I mean it's amazing isn't it, it's just a job and you have to keep getting jobs.

"You can't just get one job and keep expecting to get jobs for the rest of your life. You still have to work hard and be OK at what you do.

"It was a massive learning curve in a way because I think I probably did think at 20, I've got a really great role on Harry Potter, oh I'll get another role. But I didn't."
