The Jambos had reached 12,500 yesterday ahead of today's general sale with punters snapping up 1,500 season books in the first few hours as the club hit a 16-year-high for sales with demand showing no sign of letting up ahead of the new season

Neilson and Co reported back for pre-season training today with Hearts set to compete both on a domestic and European front with guaranteed group stage football heading to the capital and the Jambos guaranteed at minimum a spot in the Europa Conference League proper. The capital club start off in the Europa League play-off round with the group stages of that competition just potentially 180 minutes away. Defeat and they are guaranteed the safety net of the third tier competition with the European adventure guaranteeing the club bank at least £3million.

Alan Forrest, Kye Rowles and Lewis Neilson have already signed on the dotted line with Lawrence Shankland and Jorge Grant two names who could further boost numbers.

A fee has been agreed for the latter who now has to decide the next step.

Speaking following the news of huge season ticket sales, Neilson told Hearts' official website: "The boys reported back for pre-season training today and to hear that we've already sold 14,000 Season Tickets is nothing short of incredible.
