Jim Goodwin is keen to bring in the Northern Ireland international as he builds a new-look frontline at Pittodrie. Tobias Lauritsen from Odds BK is also on his transfer radar but Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam are also looking to bring the attacker on board

The Dons finished outside the Premiership top six last season after a disappointing campaign and Goodwin is out to get them challenging at the top end once again with Boyce emerging as an option. He's scored 34 goals in just two and a half years at Tynecastle with the former Ross County man scoring an impressive 16 last term.

Robbie Neilson is busy in the transfer market himself with Kye Rowles, Alan Forrest and Lewis Neilson already in the door with Jorge Grant and Alex Cochrane looking likely to follow.

Lawrence Shankland is another name mentioned with the striker working with the Tynecastle boss during his spell in charge of Dundee United.

Ellis Simms has returned to Everton and Ben Woodburn is also away after expiration of their loan deals in the capital.

Aberdeen have money to spend following Calvin Ramsay's record breaking move to English Premier League giants Liverpool and they've already recruited Liam Scales, Anthony Stewart, Jayden Richardson and Ylber Ramadani.
