US-based asset manager, Hermes has posed questions to the management of HSBC Holdings (LSE: HSBA) over the bank's support to China and its policy on Hong Kong.

The firm is the latest major investor in HSBC Holdings to publicly voice concerns over the bank's support for the controversial national security law in Hong Kong. The firm said that it is trying to fully understand the bank's position in this regard.
