Hibs backed for Champions League place as John Brownlie tips Jack Ross' men to topple Celtic

The Easter Road legend believes it's well within Jack Ross' grasp that they can claw back the six point deficit - which could become 12 if Celtic win their games in hand.

But Brownlie feels there's plenty of opportunity for Hibs to overtake Celtic, who he feels don't have an 'identity' and reckons his old side can be more consistent in the run in.

Ross' side have just 10 games left this season and clinching a Champions League place would be huge if they managed to overcome the Hoops.

Brownlie told the Daily Record: "A Champions League place is very much achievable for Hibs and it is all down to whether they can achieve consistency.

"The raw materials are there and they have the tools to do it, they have a system and identity within their squad which doesn't appear to be the case either at Aberdeen or Celtic for that matter.

"On their day they can be a match for anybody but they can't lose to the likes of Ross County and Livingston and expect to finish second or...
