Hayfever relief wet wipes sold by Home Bargains have been hailed as a 'miracle' product to help sufferers through the summer, but some shoppers have criticised the throw-away wipes as 'unethical'.

The wipes went viral on social media last week, as the pollen count soared and hayfever sufferers turned to the product to relieve their itchy eyes.

But the miracle cure to some is an environmental concern to others, who made their feelings known on Home Bargain's Facebook page.

In a Facebook post, Home Bargains wrote: "As the weather begins to get warmer and we start to sit outside again, make sure you're protected from hay-fever, with Nuage's Hay-fever Relief Wipes. Helps to relieve itchy eyes and nose's for just 89p."

While there are plenty of comments praising the product, others hit out, saying the wipes are bad for the environment, as MEN reports.
