Designed to make it easier to agree on the break up of their finances, assets and future of their children, a 'no fault' divorce allows couples to split without the drama and mess a traditional divorce often causes. Speaking to the media, legal experts at BPP University Law School, a spokesperson said

"Highlighting the unnecessary distress and delay caused by the old blame-based system one partner, or both acting together, can now file for divorce, without having to give a reason or apportion blame...ending 'the blame game' will help people rebuild their lives and protect children."

"One of the biggest hurdles in the process is the involvement of children and money. However, judges will now step in to resolve disputes over children, maintenance or the just division of wealth."

There is hope 'no fault' divorces will create a quicker and smoother process and remove the bitter toxicity that can sometimes fester in protracted legal disputes.
