Hyundai Motor Company (KSE: 005380), a South Korea-based automaker, is launching its Elevate 'Ultimate Mobility Vehicle' concept vehicle at the 2019 CES in Las Vegas.
The automaker claims that the vehicle is the first-ever to integrates wheels with moveable legs, blending technology found in electric cars and robots. The design enables the vehicle to travel over terrain that would block traditional off-road trucks.
The company stated that the technology could also be utilised to provide greater mobility for people with disabilities who lack an ADA ramp. The Elevate can 'walk' up to the front door, level itself and allow...
