Since I recently moved house, I've been thoroughly enjoying picking my way through the new season's interior trends available at High Street stores like Dunelm.

Having already invested in some nice new bedding and some cushions for the living room, I wanted to transform a boring hallway into something more magnificent by simply clicking and collecting my favourite finds. While I did have great fun sourcing some second-hand items, Dunelm did me proud with some incredible pieces, some of which were included in the 50% off sale.

From a plant pot in the shape of a dodo to a must-have occasional chair, I found some fabulous pieces that were perfect for a quick interior makeover.

We started our transformation with a huge second-hand bookcase we found on a local selling page. While this was a great place for storing books, we needed to add something more to make it look like an inviting place to be.
