‘I visited The O2 dessert parlour with brilliant reviews and fell in love with the pistachio pancakes’

Stepping into the flagship restaurant at The O2 in Greenwich, with near brilliant reviews as 80 per cent of visitors rate it 'excellent' on Tripadvisor, I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive offerings beyond their renowned pistachio pancakes. I could not resist trying their French toast, mouth-watering milkshakes, and juicy burgers, so I ended up having a complete meal

The star of the show was undoubtedly the desserts, especially the Pistachio Pancake Stack and the Lotus Biscoff Blend Milkshake. It may be because these are some of my favourite flavours, but I think a lot of people in the UK would agree since they are pretty popular.

The hot Chocolate Sinner cinnamon French toast and their signature Basque cheesecake, San Sebastian, were also delicious and memorable. While the cheesecake itself was amazing, I could have done without the milk chocolate drip on top.

You don’t even need to enter the restaurant to treat yourself to delicious chocolate; at its entrance, there is a milk and white chocolate fountain where you can purchase a cup of chocolate-dipped strawberries. As an added bonus, the waiter at the front was really friendly!

But Haute Dolci isn't solely about sweet treats; their savoury dishes shine just as brightly. Trying out three starters, my personal favourite were the Jalapeño Bites. They struck a perfect balance, not overly spicy, and paired wonderfully with cheddar cheese.
