'I watched Danny Dyer's The Wall and I can't believe it's popular enough for a fourth series'

The contestants pass through a rollercoaster of three rounds and a final decision, with the exact sum of money they might win constantly changing.

A mix of knowledge-based questions, tactical placing of the balls on the wall and the luck of where they fall, determines what they'll finally walk away with.

With so many elements in play, you might expect the show to be a tense and gripping watch.

But when I sat down to watch the latest episode, I was far from on the edge of my seat.

Episode 5 of Series 3 featured Glasgow sisters Ashley and Lisa who keen to use their winnings to treat themselves and their family to a cruise or staycation -depending on what is possible with Covid-19 restrictions of course!

In the second round, Lisa is the one who goes into isolation, leaving Ashley on-stage to place the balls on the wall depending on how confident she is in her sister's knowledge.

Once the sisters are separated, the game loses a dynamic which could've made it more interesting.

With only one contestant on stage yelling at the wall for most of the game, it doesn't make for the most exciting viewing.

The sisters' family is sat off stage but barely any engagement is made with them, again really missing out on a great opportunity.

With so many different rounds and rules, the game felt confusing and forced and I just couldn't get into it.

The questions almost felt irrelevant as red balls took away money anyway, and where the balls fell was all down to luck.

And I thought EastEnders star Danny was a terrible host.

Conversation with the contestants didn't flow, and after every question he'd repeat 'Is it right or is it wrong' in a way that totally...
