The streets of London are packed with pro-Palestine protesters including a number of them holding up placards reading, "LGBT stands with Palestine"

A video clip of one protester holding up what appears to be a cardboard cut-out with those words written on it was shared on social media by Andy Ngo, Senior Editor of the anti-woke publication The Post Millennial.

Ngo wrote with the post: "'LGBT stands with Palestine' sign at the London Palestine rally a week after the Hamas terror attacks on civilians in southern Israel.

"Hamas-governed Gaza is run under Sharia law, which criminalises male same-sex activity."

One person responded, saying: "They should go live in Gaza. Let's see how that works out for them."

Pro-Palestine marchers are also gathered in Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh and other parts of the UK today with reports of fireworks and flares being used.

It comes as thousands of Palestinians attempted a mass exodus from northern Gaza after Israel's military told them to evacuate before an expected ground invasion.

The UN, human rights groups and others have been among those expressing deep concern about the impact of Israeli action on civilians as the death toll continues to rise amid airstrikes and a siege on the territory.

Israel's call for the evacuation of Gaza comes in the shadow of Hamas' violent attacks on Israel, which have continued throughout the week.

Israel claims that Hamas has been preventing Gaza residents from fleeing the area. The Israel Defense Forces say Hamas has put up a roadblock in the central route out of the region. The Israeli government wrote on X: "Hamas prides itself on putting civilians in harm's way."
