JM AB (STO:JM) announced on Tuesday the acquisition of a centrally located property in the eastern part of Trondheim, Norway.

Reportedly, the property's local planning has gained final approval for approximately 170 apartments.

This deal, worth SEK90m, will be reported by JM in Q1 2019 under the JM International business segment. Payment will be made in the second quarter of 2019.

Centrally located at Brundalen/Charlottenlund in the eastern part of Trondheim, the property is part of a larger development area called Granas Ost. A total of approximately 800 residential units will be built. The property has access to good public transit and there are schools nearby.

According to JM, this acquisition gives it a good foothold in Trondheim and sales start-up for JM's project at Granas Ost, Strindalia is being planned...
