Livingston Police remove car by tow truck after it blocks pedestrian pavement

Images shared by Road Policing Scotland show a white Honda on Hillwood Gardens parked up on the pavement blocking pedestrian access

Officers from the West Lothian town say that the parked vehicle was stopping prams or people who rely on wheelchairs from using the walkway safely.

They say that they were unable to find the owner of the car and as a result the car was uplifted with the driver liable for all costs.

A tow truck is visible in one of the images shared and is understood to have moved the car at the officers request.
