London crime: Drink driver was so drunk he 'fell from the cab' of a lorry on A12

Metropolitan Police Roads & Transport Policing Command officers asked a lorry on the A12 to stop in October last year due to an apparent defect.

Initially, the lorry failed to come to a halt but eventually it did and the driver 'fell from the cab due to being so drunk', according to a police spokesperson.

The driver, Mr Cisowski, was arrested and taken into local custody.

Officers from East CVU recovered the HGV and found clear signs of manipulation to the system with numerous warning lights.

Officers conducted a search and found a magnet attached to the vehicle. The driver was further arrested for fraud offences.

Officers interviewed Mr Cisowski, but he refused to answer any questions...
