London weather: Long-term forecaster shares what to expect this summer and it looks 'suspiciously tepid'

Yes, this is a genuine estimate for London weather. The London weather outlook may seem too volatile to successfully predict even one day ahead where was that sun we were promised yesterday, huh but one brave man is predicting up to 150 days into the future.

Brian Gaze is a computer scientist turned expert in Numerical Weather Predictions from Berkshire. He gazes sorry ahead further than most, predicting as far as September with his long range forecasts on TheWeatherOutlook.com.

Some would dismiss this as balderdash, knowing how changeable British weather can be, but Brian's website is hugely popular. He averages a million hits a month on his long range predictions, with hopeful Britons checking in to try and forecast for their summer plans.

So far, Brian has predicted a full week of sun from the 25th-31st August, 22 degree days in July and a rainy day on the 3rd June. The forecast is lacking any of the 39 degree scorchers we've seen in recent years and overall the temperatures for summer are looking suspiciously tepid.
