Love Island's Gemma finally name drops dad Michael Owen and viewers love it

Fans of the dating show have desperate for the 19-year-old to give the game away and name drop her famous father and were not disappointed when she finally mentioned him on camera - but it was still not to the ears of those in the villa or her partner Luca Bish.

Gemma finally brings her dad up in a segment that was shown on Love Island's Unseen Bits show on Saturday night, with the teenager doing an impression of Michael.In the previously unseen clip, producers ask Gemma to do her "best impression" while she is sat alone for the Beach Hut Bonanza, reports the Mirror.

She started by contemplating: "Who can I do?"

The Mirror reports how Gemma then said: "There's no way I'm going to do my dad, but people always do the classic, 'If they don't score, they don't win.'"She went on: "It's something like that. It's some bulls**t or whatever."

Viewers were celebrating more wildly than Michael did when he scored a goal as they took to Twitter in their droves to share their delight.

Fans were quick to rush to Twitter as the star finally referenced her famous dad.

One viewer tweeted: "Gemma finally brought up her dad!"

Another added: "Gemma finally referencing her celebrity dad in Unseen Bits!"

A third wrote: "Some of these "Best Celebrities Impressions" was good especially where Gemma Owen didn't know how to do her dad, so she did someone else in "Beach Hut Bonanza".
