Man, 39, stabbed to death outside Ealing pub after 'minor dispute' in 'senseless murder'

Police were called at around 7.50pm to a disturbance and a man stabbed in Uxbridge Road at the junction with Singapore Road, West Ealing. Met officers attended along with ambulance colleagues

They found a critically injured 39-year-old man. Despite the efforts of emergency services, the man died at the scene. A crime scene was put in place and the Met launched an investigation. Police believe that the 'senseless murder' was over a 'minor dispute' that began inside a pub.

They are urging anybody inside the pub on Uxbridge Road on Saturday who may have seen anything to contact them. DCI Laura Nelson, Specialist Crime, is leading the Met’s investigation.

She said: “This senseless murder arose from what appears to have been a minor dispute inside a pub. The dispute spilled outside where the victim was fatally stabbed.

“Although formal identification has yet to take place, we believe we know the man’s identity and have informed his family. I send my most sincere condolences to them.

“It is crucial that anyone who was in the pub on Saturday night who may have seen anything significant makes contact with police and tells us what they saw. I also need to hear from anyone who recorded mobile phone footage which may have captured the disturbance, the build up to it or the...
