Appearing over the prison video link on Wednesday afternoon April 10, Mr Osei-Kofi spoke to confirm his name but did not enter a plea during the brief hearing. Defence counsel Graham Trembath KC called for the case to be put off until a later date.

Judge Lynn Tayton KC adjourned the plea and trial preparation hearing for May 17 when Mr Osei-Kofi is expected to make his plea. "I'm adjourning your case as your barrister has asked. On that occasion you will plead guilty or not guilty," Judge Tayton told Mr Osei-Kofi.
