Man dies after police called to body in canal near Harlesden Underground station

The emergency services arrived at the scene by the Grand Junction Arms pub at around 7pm, and cordoned off the area. An eyewitness told MyLondon that cordons were placed around the pub, and down to the canal, which had also been closed by police

The Metropolitan Police say officers found a man who was unresponsive at the scene. He was pronounced dead by the emergency services.

The London police force say no arrests have been made, but enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to get in touch with the Metropolitan Police.
